You know I like trying unusual shades and I think it is cool that Catrice is taking the plunge and offering a lavender. Catrice Pure Pigments Lip Lacquer 080 Lavender Pop I originally wanted to get the red, but that was out of stock and since this has a shiny finish not something I would get a lot of wear out of. I wanted to try at least one normal shade to compare the consistency. Rosie’s Peony is rosy toned dusty pink: darker than a nude, but not so pink that it is difficult to wear. Catrice Pure Pigments Lip Lacquer 020 Rosie’s Peony It also comes with enough product that you don’t need to double dip. It is a little bit flexible and very precise. The applicator itself is easy to work with. The wand is thin: it reminds me a lot of the style of the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks. These lipsticks have a liquid consistency and therefore come in long, narrow tubes, very much like a lipgloss. I of course couldn’t resist and decided to try some of those weird shades. This line comes in bright purple, lavender and oh yes, midnight blue. Five of those shades are traditional lipstick shades: a nude, a dusty rose, a red, a pink and a burgundy. The new Catrice Pure Pigments Lip Lacquer costs €3.99 each and there are 8 shades available. The grower had decided to sell the field where these were grown to developers, and Stanley, Celine’s husband and a friend of the grower, rescued them from the bulldozer. These had come from a nearby florist who had grown them for cut flowers. A star of her late spring garden was a long row of dark pink double herbaceous peonies which lined the driveway leading up to the house. Kathleen Furman’s mother, Celine had a lifelong love of gardening which she carried with her from her childhood in rural Poland, to her teenage years on the Canadian prairie and finally to her home of many decades on 2 well-manicured acres in the suburbs of New Haven, CT. Some are even lucky enough to have divisions of those very plants thriving in their own garden decades later. Notable characteristics: Many gardeners have fond memories of their grandmother’s peonies.
